Estimated reading and study time: 45–60 minutes. Allow time to review 48 slides, inspect the evidence and absorb the concepts. This estimate excludes reproducing the procedures and waiting for installation, synchronization or policy delivery.

This experimental Debian 13 lab follows enrollment through the Microsoft Intune app, MFA and custom compliance configuration. It records a final Compliant state in the app and Intune inventory and provides a concrete example for discussing what a compliance report does, and does not, establish.

Debian remains an unsupported experimental Intune platform in this lab. The observed result does not establish disk encryption, security hardening, Entra join type, token provenance or Conditional Access enforcement. It should not be treated as a production support statement or a complete security acceptance test.

Related learning: Read Ubuntu with Entra and Intune — conceptual guide for the identity, management and access model, then compare the Ubuntu 24.04 enrollment and compliance lab. The comparison is useful for separating experimental behavior from the supported-platform workflow.

Official documentation: Check Microsoft’s Linux enrollment and platform requirements and custom compliance documentation. Use the Debian project’s Debian 13 installation guide for the operating-system baseline; Debian documentation does not imply Microsoft Intune support.
